Accounting Manager

Currently serving as one of EMSI’s Accounting Administrators, Jenn joined our company in 2022, bringing almost two decades of accounting operations and office management experience to our team. Prior to joining EMSI, she provided Northern Virginia companies with accounting services, bill collecting, auditing, and database development. In these capacities, she was responsible for the gamut of accounting: bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll service, inventory control, and customer service.

Indicative of her knowledge and experience, Jenn is our one-stop accounting shop within EMSI. Serving as the primary point of contact for our 100+ instructor cadre, she is responsible for auditing travel vouchers, purchase orders, payable accounts review, and database development and maintenance.  Jenn will additionally coordinate efforts to incorporate efficiencies within EMSI business operations to continue moving to electronic records, processes, data collection, and analysis.

Beyond managing billing and payrolls, Jenn’s vast accounting experience across a diversity of industries and trades provides keen insight into best practices that enable EMSI to provide better customer service to our clients, as well as our contractors. Leveraging her experiences, she can review and provide critical input to potential contracts. In addition, her keen attention to detail and meticulous oversight of costs to identify trends for senior management allows EMSI to provide cost effective products and training deliveries to clients in an efficient manner. Expertly crafting quarterly and annual reports for senior management, Jenn’s knowledge enables the EMSI leadership to forecast future costs, allowing them to better target opportunities while supporting current and future clients.

Throughout the years, Jenn has continued to gain knowledge of her field. Her experience and expertise in accounting programs such as QuickBooks and Microsoft applications have allowed to her hit the ground running and work to immediately improve EMSI’s business processes.
