Currently serving as Executive Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors for EMSI, Lisa joined our company in 2007, bringing over twenty (20) years of experience in business and contracts management to our clients.
Prior to joining EMSI, Lisa spent sixteen (16) years at Northrop Grumman providing business and operations management to the Internal Revenue Services on a project to automate the processing of taxpayer forms and the Department of Defense on a project to upgrade computer systems in the Pentagon.
Working closely with attorneys on civil litigation and government audits, Lisa ensured they were able to provide legal, trial and records research, reporting findings, drafting pleadings, document control and processing, and affidavit preparation. She additionally established and managed C and S Corporations and an LLC in Virginia.
Demonstrating exceptional technical proficiency, Lisa spent nearly twelve (12) months managing the deployment, contracting, finance, and administrative aspects of EMSI’s 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill response efforts. She briefly served in the Area Command in New Orleans, LA.
Indicative of her knowledge and experience, Lisa manages all business, contracts, legal and accounting aspects of EMSI. In this capacity, she manages the office staff in Culpeper and ensures EMSI internal procedures meet the highest quality standards to provide our clients exemplary service.
Lisa’s continued education primarily focused on Business and Accounting. She has independent program study and certifications in the Incident Command System, Human Resources, Accounting for Executives, COTS Software Programs, Time Management, Conflict Resolution, and Legal Topics in Business.
