Course overview
ICS-347 prepares emergency management and response personnel for the role of Demobilization Unit Leader (DMOB) during incident operations. The course focuses on planning and coordinating the orderly release of incident resources, developing demobilization plans, supporting travel tracking and closeout activities, and ensuring coordination with Command and General Staff throughout the demobilization process.

- Explain the roles and responsibilities of the Demobilization Unit Leader.
- Determine the level of effort required to support incident demobilization.
- Describe procedures for establishing the demobilization process.
- Coordinate demobilization activities with Command and General Staff sections.
- Develop a Demobilization Plan to support incident check out.
- Implement demobilization procedures for assigned resources.
- Track and check out personnel traveling from incident assignments.
