Course Overview
Focusing on the responsibilities of the Finance/Administration Section’s functional units, ICS-361 enhances participants’ understanding of Finance Section organization, responsibilities, and the financial and administrative support required throughout incident operations.
This instructor-led course explores how the Finance/Administration Section supports the Incident Management Team (IMT) by managing incident costs, contracts, procurement, personnel time, compensation, and claims while supporting the planning process and Incident Action Plan (IAP). Through discussion, practical exercises, and realistic scenarios, participants develop the knowledge and skills needed to effectively support financial accountability and administrative operations during incidents.

- Support the Incident Action Planning process from the Finance/Administration perspective.
- Communicate effectively within the Finance/Administration Section, the Incident Management Team, and with external organizations.
