The Advanced Safety Officer course focuses on the role of the Safety Officer working in an ICS organization and using the ICS framework. It is intended for previously trained and qualified ICS Safety Officers and explores more advanced topics than are covered in standard ICS Safety Officer training. Depending on the needs of the target audience, the course can be customized to explore different topics applicable to the Safety Officer.
This course is an instructor-led training that supports learning through discussion, lecture, and active participation in multiple exercises that provides a realistic, hands-on approach to mastering the skills required of a Safety Officer at the Type 2 level and beyond.
