Course overview 

Organizational Leadership prepares Incident Management Team personnel to lead effectively in complex incident environments requiring strategic coordination and organizational-level decision-making. Building on Incident Leadership, the course focuses on leadership awareness, team culture, delegation, conflict resolution, and time-compressed decision-making to strengthen leadership performance during increasingly complex incident management operations.

  • Incident Management Team personnel serving in Command and General Staff roles. 
  • Personnel preparing for leadership responsibilities on Type 2 Incident Management Teams. 
  • Supervisors responsible for guiding teams during complex or extended incident operations. 
  • Responders supporting strategic coordination across multi-section incident environments.
