EMSI is excited to participate in both the Clean Gulf 2017 conference and the All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT) Association Symposium this December.
The Clean Gulf conference, scheduled December 5-7 in Houston, TX, covers spill preparedness and response topics for the exploration and production; transportation; and storage of oil and hazardous materials. Providing a forum for responders, operators, regulators, equipment providers, and environmental groups, attendees openly discuss best practices and lessons-learned for response improvement. EMSI President Ron Cantin will be in attendance and will be located at our booth, number 214.
In addition to supporting the Clean Gulf conference, EMSI maintains a Preferred Response Organization (PROs) contract with Clean Gulf Associates to provide response management services to Clean Gulf Association industry partners.
The AHIMT Association Symposium is scheduled for December 2-7 in San Diego, CA. The AHIMT Association serves as the voice of the All-Hazards IMT community and assists the community by coordinating the development of standards and All-Hazards incident management guidance. As part of this event, EMSI is donating a delivery of our recently updated ICS-220 Initial Response team course. Enrollment is free to conference participants. In addition, EMSI Vice President of Operations Billy Haley will staff an exhibitor booth, so be sure to stop by and say hi. This is the third consecutive year that EMSI is participating in the AHIMTA Symposium and the second time we have offered training as part of the symposium.
EMSI looks forward to seeing out clients and partners at these conferences and meeting new members of the community.
