As we enter a new year, EMSI is looking forward to seeing our clients, partners, and friends at several 2024 conferences. Additionally, we look forward to meeting new members of our ever-expanding All-Hazard community at the upcoming AHIMTA, Clean Waterways, IOSC, and Clean Gulf conferences.
The All-Hazard Incident Management Team Association (AHIMTA) Training & Education Symposium & pre-conference hosts breakout and plenary sessions scheduled over six days designed to develop and strengthen the efforts of incident management teams. In addition to being a Gold Sponsor and conference exhibitor, EMSI is conducting an All-Hazards Initial Response ICS-220 course as part of the pre-conference training. EMSI has previously instructed this course as part of the AHIMTA Conference, and several participants have subsequently scheduled delivery of the EMSI ICS-220 in their home jurisdiction. EMSI Chief Operating Officer, Billy Haley, will attend the conference and lead a breakout session on the updated NIMS Intelligence/Investigation Functional Guidance.
The International Oil Spill Conference (IOSC) provides a vital forum for professionals from the international spill response community, private sector, government, and non-governmental organizations to come together to tackle the greatest challenges facing us with sound science, practical innovation, social engineering, global research, and imagination.
EMSI will have a booth (booth # 432) on the exhibit floor throughout the conferences. Stop by and say hi!
The Clean Gulf Conference covers spill preparedness and response topics for the exploration and production; transportation; and storage of oil and hazardous materials. Providing a forum for responders, operators, regulators, equipment providers, and environmental groups, attendees openly discuss best practices and lessons-learned for response improvement.
EMSI will have a booth on the exhibit floor (booth # 618) and continues to participate as a member of the Clean Gulf Conference Planning Committee.
