EMSI Welcomes Greg Morrison

EMSI is pleased to announce the addition of Greg Morrison to our team. Greg joins us after working in law enforcement and emergency response for many years. Under our current contract, Greg will provide considerable emergency management expertise and support to the Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA).

Greg brings broad experience from a law enforcement and response career that included serving as the Chief of Police in Vail and Grand Junction, Colorado, and Deputy Chief in Breckenridge, where he managed first line responders and developed a multitude of response plans and programs. Over the last eleven years, Greg has been active in the Northwest Colorado Incident Management Team (IMT) and Team Rubicon as an Incident Commander and Planning Section Chief, responding to multiple large scale responses/exercises and managing emergency management strategies. Notably during his time with Team Rubicon, he served as the Incident Commander responding to the 2015 Wimberley (TX) flood, where the Blanco River rose 33 feet in less than three hours and 12 people unfortunately could not escape its deadly rise. Indicative of his education and experience, Greg has additionally worked as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Colorado Denver and Colorado Springs campuses. His vast experience will aid the Department of Energy’s efforts to improve incident management and emergency response.

EMSI has provided emergency management contract support to DOE since 2007 and currently works with several DOE programs. Greg joins an already accomplished EMSI team of professionals supporting the important emergency management and national security missions of DOE.
